Syzygy Floor Lamp

Christian Sandbye & Jonas Oppedal, 2025

Syzygy (noun)
An arrangement in which two or more planets, stars, etc. are in a straight line.
A rare moment of alignment – celestial and exact, yet full of mystery.

Syzygy is a sculptural floor lamp composed of mouth-blown opal glass spheres, held in perfect balance by two precision-bent aluminium sheets. The T-shaped structure provides both stability and form, allowing the glowing spheres to float in quiet tension. The lamp is designed by Christian Sandbye and Jonas Oppedal — the duo behind the Norwegian design studio KOGL. By day, it brings a clean, reflective edge to the room. By night, it becomes a quiet centrepiece — warm, minimal, and calm.

Expected release: June–July 2025
